As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge ASIC designs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital backend design and experience with advanced technology nodes. They will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete complex chip floorplanning, clock architecture, and power planning tasks.

A key aspect of this position is the ability to research and develop innovative physical design methodologies, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in emerging process nodes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for building automatic physical design platforms that drive efficiency and accuracy.

Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering, microelectronics, or computer science is required. A minimum of 5 years of work experience in digital backend design, with hands-on project experience and tapeout experience at advanced technology nodes, is preferred.

Familiarity with TCL, Perl, or Python script development and EDA tool design is an advantage. Strong communication skills, confidence, and self-motivation are essential for success in this role. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is also desired to facilitate effective collaboration with stakeholders.
