We are seeking a highly skilled digital backend design expert to join our team.

About the Role

As a senior physical design engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of advanced chip designs. Your expertise in IC backend design will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects.

You will work closely with our front-end design team to create optimized chip floorplans, clock architectures, and power plans. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing physical design tasks from netlist to GDSII, including placement and routing, formal verification, static timing analysis, physical verification, power analysis, and design for reliability
  • Researching and developing new physical design methodologies for advanced process nodes

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering, microelectronics, or computer science
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital backend design, with hands-on project experience and tapeout experience at advanced technology nodes
  • Excellent communication skills, confidence, and self-motivation
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with stakeholders
