MongoDB is hiring a Senior Manager, Employee Experience to join our APAC team.

The role will report to the Head of HR, APAC Experience and will be responsible for scaling business processes while supporting employees and managers to optimize their experience.

This is a new role being created to support MongoDB's continued growth and expansion.

The Employee Experience Team at MongoDB is responsible for providing full employee life cycle service delivery from onboarding to separation management in partnership with the rest of the People Team including Recruiting, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement & Inclusion, HR Business Partnering and HR Operations.

The team also manages Workplace sustainability and community/events efforts, Employee Relations, policy and process enhancements including regional compliance as well as developing programs to enhance manager capability across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership:
Global HRBPs and COEs to support achieving people goals of assigned business units.

Service Delivery:
Main point of contact for escalated employee and people manager questions and concerns for assigned business unit.

Performance Management: Coach and enable managers to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and manage employee performance.

Employee Relations:

Support safe and balanced workplace by evaluating employee complaints to make appropriate recommendations. Conduct mediation sessions when necessary.



Process Improvement:
Develop and evolve People processes and systems to continue elevating employee and manager experience.

Management:
Effectively lead and manage direct report(s) fostering collaborative and productive work environment.

Compliance:

Stay updated on employment law and current legislation related to Human Resources, providing valuable advice to managers. Identify risks and suggest alternative solutions. Contribute to evaluation, development, and enhancement of company policies as needed



Culture Ambassador:
Focus on manager and leadership enablement, support and promote values-based culture and effective hybrid working environment.

Coaching:
Act as trusted advisor applying HR expertise and understanding of MongoDB's business to partner with leaders. Provide guidance, support and coaching to drive people development and business results.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field with at least 10 years of progressive HR roles and 5 years in leadership position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and engage others.
