About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction project management team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing cost estimates, budgets, and contract documentation.


Your primary focus will be on ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are properly coordinated and managed.


To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.


In addition to your technical skills and knowledge, you will need to have a solid understanding of international construction standards and practices. This includes familiarity with tender submission processes, contract administration, and progress claims.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  2. Manage contract documentation, including tender submissions and progress claims.
  3. Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities.
  4. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize project profitability.

Requirements:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Cost Management Specialist to join our team. To be considered for this role, you will need to have:


  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction cost management roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
