Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in operational matters.
  • Assist in regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with department managers to address safety concerns and implement corrective measures.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of safety reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence related to safety initiatives.
  • Assist in the procurement and maintenance of safety equipment and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Degree in business administration or equivalents.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
