Field Application Engineer

We're in search of a dynamic Field Application Engineer who's driven and skilled to join our team. Your main responsibility will be to offer technical assistance to both contractors and customers, ensuring our systems run smoothly. If you excel in fast-paced settings and love tackling challenges, this role is perfect for you.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support to contractors/customers, assisting them with any technical queries related to both product and IoT solutions.
- Conduct site measurements and evaluate system performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Leveraging IoT solutions where applicable.
- Support product quality control through rigorous testing and analysis.
- Perform product analysis, repairs, and service to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your work.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Possess a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a similar field.
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic coding languages
- Familiarity with networking concepts including IP addressing (classes A, B, C, and D)
- Knowledge of integration and protocols at both high and low levels, including analog/digital interfaces, and protocols such as Modbus, Bacnet, and MQTT.
JOB-RELATED SKILLS & PRE-REQUISITES
- Good command of English, speaking and writing and computer literacy.
- Results oriented with the ability to define problems, exhibit sound judgement, and take initiative to develop alternative solutions rationally and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with contractors/customers, providing them with the best possible technical support.
- Strong analytical thinking to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Possess a valid Class 3 or 3A driving license, which will be an advantage.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as a valuable team player.
