Responsibilities:

Admission and Scholarship Administration
  • Assist in admission and scholarship applications, including the compiling of shortlisted applications, review and programme offers.
  • Arrange and facilitate student's admission and scholarship selection meetings, answering enquiries from prospective students and parents.
  • Liaise with Scholarship and Campus Housing to ensure that scholarship benefits disbursements, campus housing and related matters are provided in a timely manner.
  • Administer and ensure proper governance of the scholarship process in accordance to the university's and school's policies
  • Assist in logistic planning and the coordination for all outreach and school events including but not limited to NTU Open House, Orientation, Tea Sessions, Student Clubs and Student Immersion Trips.


Course Administration, Timetabling and Registration
  • Provide academic and administrative advisory support services to applicants and students.
  • Facilitate and arrange logistically for the running of Masterclass courses.
  • Check and ensure that all students have successfully registered for their required course after the course registration exercise.
  • Ensure that the course registration process has been conducted in accordance to the University's and school's policies, guidelines and deadlines.
  • Work with the Academic Planning Team to ensure that programme and learning objectives are met.
  • Manage the coordination of class timetable, modules allocation to students to ensure optimal learning.
  • Coordinate in the submission of proposals by Faculty for new programmes and curriculum change.


Outbound Internships, Overseas Programme (Exchange), and Capstone Project
  • Manage partnerships with external Universities and Industry partners for collaboration and student participation.
  • Facilitate relevant and timely placements for students in Exchange and Internship programmes.
  • Implement, review and update standard operating procedure for overseas learning programme.
  • Assist in academic and administrative advisory support services to students including responding to and management of student emergencies locally and in overseas.
  • Facilitate students with the study abroad application process, including advising on financial aid and scholarships, courses equivalency process, registration, transcripts, credits and other administrative tasks.
  • Stay abreast of all travel alerts, travel warnings and events abroad that might affect students.


Requirements:
  • Min. a Degree with 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an educational institution.
  • IT savvy, proficient in MS Office applications
  • Meticulous and organized, with the ability to multi-task
  • Proactive, analytical and resourceful
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills
  • Good sense of initiative and responsibility and positive working attitude
