About the client
I am representing a world-renowned automotive company, synonymous with luxury, performance, and innovation and their brands are widely recognized and respected worldwide for their rich history and prestigious status.
As part of their business expansion, they are looking for a Director, Sales & Market Strategy- B2C Automotive to spearhead their sales growth within the region and optimize operations to enhance productivity across their retailer and franchise network.
About the role
Reporting to the MD , your responsibilities would includes
- Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive market strategies to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Identify and develop new sales channels and partnerships to expand the company's network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets and increase market share.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and franchise partners to ensure alignment with the brand's goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to retailers and franchises to help them achieve their sales targets and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure cohesive and integrated sales efforts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the automotive industry, preferably with a luxury brand.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, retail management, and franchise management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
