SLS Aluminium Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Sales to oversee our sales efforts in the construction and wholesales of construction material sectors. The incumbent will be responsible for strategic leadership of the sales team in the Pacific, demanding well-developed interpersonal and collaboration skills to manage and develop the sales team to ensure they achieve goals.

The Sales Director role requires commercial acumen, a deep understanding of the consumer base, the competitive market, and an ability to analyse and drive sales performance. The Sales Director must be extremely well informed and therefore able to anticipate shifts in the forecast, adapt strategy/tactics and manage market dynamics accordingly.
- Set revenue targets and key performance indicators; and project sales volume and margin for existing and new products, working closely with the Portfolio team.
- Develop annually marketing and sales strategy and plan in line with the Company's business development goals.
- Attend or host events to generate leads and clients’ relationship maintain.
- Motivate, coach and drive strategic thinking in the sales team to deliver revenue targets and business results.
- Provide continual training and development of all members of the sales department
- Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process and implement best practices in sales techniques.

**Requirement**
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Business Development and Sales with familiarity in the aluminium construction related industry and possesses large network of client’s resources.
- Excellent ability to develop large customer resources, capable of creating a regional customer map through point resources and radiating resource networks.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, excellent verbal expression abilities, and robust capabilities in customer development and relationship management.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to deliver exceptional results.
- Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets.
- Good understanding of contracts and legal issues associated with them.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market analysis, sales forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
