Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

· Responsible for developing, stewarding and implementing the internal governance and policy framework that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

· Report to both subsidiary and headquarters leadership.

· Conduct research and insights into corporate governance practices and design tailored governance strategies aligned with our business operations.

· Monitor corporate governance-related risks, prepare corresponding risk reports, and providing support to senior management in corporate governance risk management.

· Support board meetings, including preparation of materials, documentation, and tracking of action items.

· Collaborate with other functional departments across the company, leading or supporting the implementation of corporate governance-related projects.

· Deliver training on corporate governance across the organization.

· To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers in China HQ team.

Requirements:

· Master's degree in Law or a related field.

· At least 3 years' experience in corporate governance or compliance within a multinational corporation, with exposure to Southeast Asian governance practices.

· At least 1 year of financial management experience in a multinational corporate environment, with proven skills in financial analysis, internal controls, and compliance reporting.

· At least 1 year of project management experience involving end-to-end telecom solution projects, from presales to delivery.

· Strong knowledge of corporate governance laws and regulations in Singapore, China and familiarity with at least one other Southeast Asian country.

· Recognised Legal Professional Qualification.

· Understanding of sales models and business operations in the ICT industry.

· Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-border teams.

· Experience in supporting board meetings and preparing governance documentation.

· Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
