Corporate Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our internal control, compliance, and risk management practices are robust and effective.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. They will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the internal controls function for the Asia Pacific offices, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain internal control systems and guidelines tailored to the needs of Asia Pacific offices.
- Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance procedures, and documentation generation.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Lead and manage Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) activities for the Asia Pacific offices.
- Develop risk-based compliance programs to facilitate the execution of compliance reviews and monitoring.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, or risk management.
- Possesses knowledge in up-to-date changes and developments in laws and regulations.
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with professionals at all levels within the organization.
