Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer or Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and guide a team of developers. The Senior Developer or Lead Developer will collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, efficient, and secure technical solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle (design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance).
- Define coding standards, best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
- Review code, troubleshoot critical issues, and optimize performance across applications.
- Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and cloud-based development practices.
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of developers, fostering growth and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, set development goals, and provide constructive feedback.
- Encourage collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to align development priorities.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with clear documentation.
- Ensure project deliverables are on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and development methodologies.
- Recommend improvements in architecture, development processes, and DevOps practices.
- Champion automation, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery approaches.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a lead/managerial role.
- Strong expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, .NET, JavaScript, React JS).
- Proven experience with modern frameworks, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and DevOps pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people-management abilities.
- Experience in agile development and leading distributed teams.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with data-driven applications, analytics, and machine learning pipelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
