Roles & Responsibilities

Job scope

  • Working with the business team to identify clients’ specific business problems, challenges and context of briefs
  • Write and develop creative and communication briefs to bring the client’s objectives to life.
  • Develop and define communication strategies through analysis, insight excavation to creative propositioning through to channel and implementation strategy.
  • Ability to listen and work intuitively with TSLA’s creative and technology teams to create compelling work, being the pillar of support and objectivity.
  • Produce contextual, relevant and inventive ideas with other members of the creative team, providing guidance and inspiration in the process.
  • Ability to proactively to provide on-going perspectives on client’s brand, industry, performance, success metrics (this will entail the compilation of campaign performance, competitive reviews, insight gathering through desktop and syndicated research)
  • Experience in working closely with research agencies, crafting research briefs, evaluation of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies is appreciated
  • Assist in facilitating programming for client immersion sessions, insight excavation workshops, cultural excavation workshops, co-writing briefs with clients, stakeholder presentations etc. alongside Strategy Director and Head of Department
  • Support in new business endeavours by leading or contributing actively in pitches
  • Push the agency’s agenda in championing authentic Asian insights further through meeting potential agency collaborators and partners and developing agency initiatives with said partners

Job Requirements

· Candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in the capacity of a planner/strategist and 2-3 years of leadership experience mentoring junior strategists

· Candidate should have a proven track record in the development of strategic plans to benefit client businesses and in pitch wins.

· Candidate should be driven by curiosity with a strong self-starter mentality

· Candidate should also possess excellent written skills and compelling verbal communication skills

· Candidate should possess an intuition honed from years of experience working with a diverse range of personality types (clients, team members), and have the ability to steer creative thinking and direction as well as client discussions deftly

· Candidate should be extremely comfortable orchestrating and facilitating high-level client interactions (stakeholder presentations, key workshops, immersion sessions etc.)

· Apart from having a passion for the strategy function in communications, the candidate should also possess a love for imparting wisdom to junior members of his/her team. We are looking for individuals who possess the drive to help others succeed and reach their peak

· Ability to translate their thinking in the sharpest, clearest and most compelling way across various mediums to clients and creatives.
