Roles & Responsibilities

As a Cyber Resilience Strategist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance the cyber resilience of the company’s network infrastructure and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate cyber threats, develop incident response plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding our operations and maintaining the trust of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyber Resilience Strategy Development: Develop and implement cyber resilience strategies to protect the company’s network infrastructure and systems against cyber threats.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and prioritize mitigation efforts. Develop risk management strategies to address identified risks effectively.
  • Incident Response Planning: Develop and maintain incident response plans to ensure a timely and effective response to cyber incidents. Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of the plans.
  • Security Awareness Training: Collaborate with the training department to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs for employees. Ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining cyber resilience.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards. Ensure that the company remains compliant with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Cyber Threat Intelligence: Monitor emerging cyber threats and trends. Use threat intelligence to enhance the company’s cyber defense capabilities and proactively identify potential threats.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate the cybersecurity posture of third-party vendors and service providers. Ensure that vendors adhere to the company's cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, legal, and compliance teams. Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on cyber resilience initiatives and escalate issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity or information security roles, with a focus on cyber resilience and incident response.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience developing and implementing cyber resilience strategies in a complex organizational environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards
  • Experience working in the telecommunications industry is preferred but not required.
