Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Agents Relationship and Business Development


•Collaborate with assigned GFS agents to build relationships and develop new business opportunities through virtual or in-person meetings.


•Support the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of new agents in key global markets.


•Prepare and coordinate quotations for agent's business inquires, projects, and tenders, engaging with GFS offices and procurement departments.


•Assist the Head of Global Network Agents in matters related to agents' development, such as presentations, agent visit coordination, quarterly reviews, and statistics.


•Monitor agents' monthly performance, support the implementation of commercial activities, and maintain pipeline updates.


•Keep SharePoint updated with information about the agent's network and share updates with the GFS network.

2. Operations Related


•Act as the main point of escalation for operational issues resolution related to agent business.


•Define or update Key Operative Guidelines (KOG) for operations concerning global network agents and communicate them throughout the GFS network.


•Manage access rights for agent code creation and modifications in CargoWise.

3.Freight Management Projects IT-Related


•Collaborate with IT to manage the interface between agents' systems and the IT team, ensuring project timelines are adhered to.


•Support the creation of standard KOG requirements and guidelines for agents' interfaces as needed.


•Monitor and report on the progress of IT solutions related to projects to relevant stakeholders.

4.Statistics, Data Analysis, and Reporting


•Provide monthly statistics and analysis for agent performance reviews and management meetings using AI, Dashboard, and other related tools.

Desired Skills and Experience:


•Bachelor's degree or higher qualification.


•Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding with proven experience in developing global network agents.


•Strong data analytical skills and a data-driven approach.


•Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and AI tools.


•Excellent cross-cultural awareness, communication, and commercial skills.


•Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.


•Strong teamwork abilities


•Familiarity with freight management systems (e.g., CW1) and POMs is a plus
