Job Description
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Manage stock and ordering supplies, including authentic Indian ingredients, ensuring that all products are fresh and of the highest quality
- Continually review and improve processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of output
- Ensuring the timely delivery of food, while maintaining the highest levels of quality and consistency
- Managing and training a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Maintaining the highest levels of food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Indian ingredients, techniques, and flavours
- Experience in managing a team of kitchen staff
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and work under high-pressure conditions
- Excellent communication in English – Indian is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
