Job OverviewAs the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring high-quality food preparation, innovative menu creations, and seamless operations. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, maintain kitchen efficiency, and uphold the highest culinary and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency and top-notch quality.
- Develop and refine menus with innovative culinary creations.
- Ensure all dishes meet presentation and taste standards before serving.
- Manage kitchen inventory, placing orders for ingredients and equipment as needed.
- Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and efficiency.
- Oversee kitchen maintenance, arranging repairs when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor staff workload, schedules, and payroll records.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and implement best practices to enhance kitchen performance.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef/Head Cook in a high-paced Indian restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Creative mindset with a passion for Indian and fusion cuisine.
- Knowledge of kitchen management software, POS systems, and MS Office.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
