About the role & team
As a vital member of the Partners & Rewards team, you'll play a central role in one of Ascenda’s key product offerings. Our rewards marketplace is a unique differentiator on our rewards platform, offering users from major banks and financial institution a diverse selection of redemption options, ranging from airline miles to cryptocurrencies.
Partners & Rewards is a crucial team at the forefront of curating and implementing transformative rewards content. Recognising the diversity of rewards preferences across different regions, you'll play a central role in shaping, defining, and deploying tailored rewards content for a global audience. Be it gift cards in the US to miles redemptions in India, product managers have the autonomy to explore through in depth research, competitor analysis. Together, we hand-in-hand with our rewards partners to help them scale revenue with ease.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll serve as the pivotal link between our Engineering, Business Development, and Partnership teams. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Spearheading the exploration, assessment, and seamless integration of fresh rewards content tailored to resonate with our diverse user base across the global landscape.
- You will steer the roadmap and priorities of your domain by deeply understanding the users, competitors, and our product suite, then build shared understanding among stakeholders.
- You will oversee every phase of the product lifecycle, from ideation to sunset, meticulously ensuring that objectives are crystal clear, releases adhere to schedules, and users are deeply engaged with our array of rewards content.
- You will collaborate closely with our designers, engineers and other key stakeholders to determine the best solution and ship features that make a difference
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of working directly with engineering teams to deliver successful products.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS or consumer apps in a product role.
- Experience in the rewards & loyalty space, and/or having a technical background is a big plus
- You have deep experience working with APIs and third-party evaluations and integrations, enabling seamless interoperability and extensibility of our platform is an added plus
- You are exceptionally good at making complex things simple, and writing down a solution in simple, clear, yet comprehensive terms.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to successfully work and partner across multiple functions in a technology organisation.
- You demonstrated ability to problem-solve independently, by synthesising information and seeing the big picture.
- You are a real generalist who cracks any and every problem with creative solutions, and you have a strong natural sense of what's technically and commercially viable
