**Overview of the Job

Reporting to the Head of Rewards, People Systems and Analytics, APAC, the Director/Senior Director, Total Rewards, APAC will drive the implementation and delivery of strategic reward programmes that will attract, retain and motivate our employees across all of APAC.


The role holder will collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team and the wider People and Finance community (both across APAC and globally) to support the delivery of the reward agenda for GroupM's 12,000+ employees across all of APAC (c37,500 globally).


Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Total Rewards Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive total rewards strategy that aligns with our business objectives and supports our talent management goals.
  • Continuously review and enhance existing compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness.
  • Drive regular improvement and innovations to Total Rewards processes with the aim of achieving streamlined processes and operational excellence.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in total rewards to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Compensation Management:
  • Drive the implementation and administration of the organization's compensation programs and cycles, including formulation and reviews of base salary, variable pay, and equity plans.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure our compensation practices are competitive, internally equitable, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to cluster and market leadership on compensationrelated matters.
  • Benefits Management and Review:
  • Drive the review and management of the regional benefits strategy and programmes and guide the localisation of the strategy and programmes.
  • Oversee the management of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, flexible spending accounts, timeoff programmes, recognition programmes and wellness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimize benefit offerings, negotiate contracts, and ensure costeffectiveness while meeting the diverse needs of our employees.
  • Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in total rewards programs.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and rewards, and make necessary adjustments to our programs and policies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Extensive experience in total rewards management, including compensation, benefits, recognition, and wellness programs. Strong background in benefits review and strategy development is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful total rewards strategies in a complex organizational environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of compensation theories, job evaluation methodologies, and market analysis techniques.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to compensation and benefits.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating highperforming teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
