Roles & Responsibilities

Job Opportunity: Service Desk Officer (1 Year Contract)


Location: Suntec, Singapore
Working Hours: Office Hours (details to be confirmed)
Salary Range: $3,000 - $4,000
Contract Type: Contract/Outsourced

Key Responsibilities:

Helpdesk Support:

  • First-Level User Problems: Provide helpdesk support by resolving first-level user issues and performing basic troubleshooting.
  • Service Desk Calls: Log and resolve service desk calls, ensuring end users are kept updated throughout the process.

Technical Assistance:

  • Installation and Configuration: Assist with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • International Coordination: Coordinate with international IT support staff to address and resolve user problems.

System Interconnectivity and Management:

  • Client-Server Environment: Ensure seamless interconnectivity of desktop computers with various systems in a client-server environment.
  • PC Re-Image Program: Manage the ongoing PC re-image program using Intune.
  • System Upgrades: Recommend and perform necessary system upgrades to ensure optimal performance.

Training and Support:

  • Staff Training: Train staff on hardware and software usage to improve efficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Video Conferencing Support: Provide technical support for video conferencing systems.

Procurement and Inventory Management:

  • IT Hardware and Software: Assist in purchasing, building, and deploying IT-related hardware and software.
  • IT Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date IT inventory through regular hardware and software audits.

Technical Expertise:

  • Azure Environment: Experience with the Azure environment is required.
