The Guest Service Team Leader (Concierge) plays a primary role in managing and supervising front office concierge operations to ensure a positive arrival and departure experience for all guests. This includes reception tasks and duties includes checking in and out and providing assistance to guests.
Our Expectations:
- To assist in maintaining and/or developing agreed operating procedures relating to Concierge
and to ensure that colleagues adhere to the correct procedures. - To set a high example to colleagues in terms of punctuality, appearance, performance, attitude,
leadership, guest relations, observance of the house rules, loyalty to the management and
interdepartmental co-operation. - Conduct the hand over between shifts, ensuring that all relevant staff are in attendance and that
all pertinent information is passed accurately to the oncoming shift. - Ensure that all current promotional and or activity information is communicated to the team.
- Take care of sectional training and ensure that the required training hours are achieved.
- Determine daily room requirements and ensure guest's special requests are being checked and
ensure all guests' preferences are met. - To assist Guest Services Ambassador with Concierge duties as and when required.
- To be aware of all VIP arrivals and departures, especially corporate guests.
- Conduct daily briefing for all Front Office staff in the absence of the Chief Concierge and/or
Front Office Manager. - To undertake any other reasonable assignment by the superior as and when required.
- Be alert and report any faults, defects and unusual activity of the property to relevant
departments.
