Roles & Responsibilities

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and issue stocks
  • Arrange items to ensure that first in, first out method is applied
  • Perform daily stock count on accountable items and submit data input to EDP section
  • Ensure that store is thoroughly cleaned up and that empty cartons are thrown away
  • Recommend stocks that needs to be replenished. Specifically with regard to store equipment, the responsibilities and duties relating to store equipment are:
  • Ensure that stacker is maintained and placed at proper location at the end of each working day
  • Check battery water level for stacker and forklift once a week
  • Check engine oil level for forklift on a fortnightly basis
  • Check temperature of cool room daily
  • Ensure that pulley jack and trolley are always in good working condition
  • Assist Technical Storekeeper on his duties when the person is away.


REQUIREMENTS

  • GCE ‘O’ level/ ITE qualification with some experience preferred.
  • Willing to learn and understand the needs to support relevant Team.
  • Systematic and cleanliness in nature a must.
  • Computer literacy.
