Senior Business Development Manager

(based in SG)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales commitments and targets by phone, email or by personal visitation;
  • Update records of daily client contacts through Hubspot or any other system that the company specifies;
  • Manage a Sales Team such that:
  • a. Each member of your sales team must meet their sales revenue target;
  • b. Each sales staff's pipeline should also always show that they are going to meet the set target ahead of time. Otherwise it will be your responsibility to plan and manage the output by identifying products and clients to target;
  • c. Seeking out and visiting clients personally together with the sales team to achieve their numbers;
  • d. Ensuring that the sales team always has an adequate supply of sales professionals of sufficient quality to meet sales targets;
  • Manage the monthly and annual net income budgets for all products on a consistent basis in a manner to ensure that the Company achieves its profitability every single month, by ensuring that each product is delivered according to plan and budget in the appointed month when they are due;
  • Negotiate daily with the Business/Product Managers in the company on meeting their product delivery commitments on schedule, advertisement costs and revenue targets that results in the projected sales targets.

Core Skills

  • The ability to sell the full range of intelligence-based products and services to clients of the Company within assigned budgets and sales targets;
  • The ability to develop sales capability by building networks and relationships with third parties and other intermediaries and potential clients of the Company;
  • The ability to promote the products, services, activities and general reputation of the Company in such a way that will build goodwill in the marketplace and result in strong sales revenue;
  • The ability to write and present sales propositions and secure sales, particularly of the large ticket items with reputable organizations that the Company seeks to do business with.
  • The ability to achieve the sales target set in the budget for each year.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) shall be:

  • Meeting your personal sales targets. Managing the Sales Revenue of the Company to ensure that we are profitable every month and generating strong income on a moving average basis;
  • Managing the product and sales capability to ensure we meet the income targets;
  • Timelines of all pipelines and reports;
  • Problem solving skills on a daily basis.

Requirements:-

  • Bachelor's degree in related fields;
  • 5 – 7+ years' event management and/or corporate meeting planning experience preferred;
  • Strong meeting coordination experience for meetings/conferences ranging between 50 to 300+ people;
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to understand the meeting/event objective and mission, business, and audience in order to align with the overall vision and strategy of the needs of the Event Host and event;
  • Organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to execute tasks independently and efficiently;
  • Creative problem solver, resourceful, team player;
  • Adaptability to situations and ever-changing demands;
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines;
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills;
  • Ambitious and proactive with a calm and flexible approach to handling pressure;
