Roles & Responsibilities

This role will help the region to drive our growth agenda, enabling Royal Canin to achieve the overall goals and objectives and having a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of more than 10 million of cats and dogs by 2030 in APAC. The region includes China, Japan, Hong Kong & Taiwan, Australia & New Zealand, Korea, and from 2025 also SEA cluster, that includes Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.

PSRO (Pet Specialty Retail and Omnichannel) is key for value creation in our business, and in the context of our ambition to become the partner of choice of our retailers partners, grow health equity and credibility, and continue to adapt to drive recommendation at the service of pets health, pet owners, in collaboration with our partners.

This role aims to support the APAC PSRO acceleration agenda by driving key priorities and programs, with key focus on portfolio activation and sales acceleration programs, including ecommerce, while fostering a culture of connection and sharing between region, local and global.

Key Responsibilities:

Support & Drive portfolio activation and acceleration

  • Facilitate diagnosis for markets with flywheel tool to identify opportunities and areas for improvement across portfolio Support portfolio launch process from planning, development to execution and post-launch analysis.
  • Help drive our portfolio strategy and key strategic portfolio choices towards our Ambition, namely Ageing and Wet.
  • Support portfolio escalations and R-PMR process.
  • Ensure effective implementation of global portfolio activations in markets. Closely collaborate with markets to feedback global to address unique market needs & opportunities.
  • Ensure access to all up-to-date information/marketing assets/ activation & launch packages to markets.
  • Lead compilation & analysis of performance data and regular review.
  • Support Partners4Health deployment in markets.
  • Responsible to measure performance and track deliverables, ensure action plan follow-ups, enable right connections and support improvement plans.
  • Work with markets to identify trends to support continuous improvement of program and contextualization to markets.

Support ecommerce acceleration by leading perfect digital store program management

  • Lead and Drive deployment of Perfect Digital store program in local markets.
  • Own the T&L agenda in partnership with global to continuously adapt and improve program for APAC markets.
  • Work with local market to track and analyze performance and revise action plans on a regular basis.

Lead Perfect store program management

  • Lead deployment of perfect store program across priority markets.
  • Work with local market to track and analyze performance and revise action plans on a regular basis.
  • Facilitate connections within markets & global to share knowledge, challenges and opportunities. Support community.
  • Work with local market to track and analyze performance and revise action plans on a regular basis.

Drive Community and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support to nurture a vibrant community by actively engaging with members, fostering connections, and creating opportunities for collaboration for key strategic programs and priorities.
  • Devise Tools for Communication and Task Management.
  • Support in fostering an environment for best practice sharing.
  • Support & facilitate workshop creations.
  • Facilitate other business enablers like Premia, etc at the service of the local markets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Operations to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment between global, regional, and local teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • Master/ MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimally 7+ years experience in Petcare industry, including portfolio management, category, customer marketing, sales programs.
  • Pet Care experience is essential.
  • Successful diverse experience in a local market / regional and/or global level or different markets/ geographies is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer experience with ability to engage others.
  • Possesses an Internal network within Mars / Royal Canin, has profound acquaintance with key interfaces collaborating across different functions.
