What you'll achieve

Manages strategic and operational commodity teams and buyers for Dell Services. Develops supplier strategy, long-range plans, global supply chain optimization, and builds supplier relationships for several commodity areas or spend categories, in partnership with business partners. Responsible for setting and achieving performance goals/metrics to improve total delivered/lifecycle value in regards to commodity cost, quality, technology and/or services. Responsible for implementing procurement initiatives and process improvements, and for getting feedback from regions on the success of Dell's global procurement programs. Responsible for leading and developing your team. This role reports into the Vice President of Services Procurement. Executive level presentation skills, communication, and professionalism are required.

Desirable Requirements

  • Typically requires 20+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree; or 15+ years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8+ years experience; or equivalent experience Typically requires 10+ years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation skill (or equivalent experience). We are looking for leaders that have spent a significant portion of their career in the services / reverse logistics side of procurement.
