Director of Procurement

**About the Role**:
We are seeking a **Director of Procurement** to join our team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of procurement operations throughout the global organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with Sourceability's business objectives and contribute to the growth and success of the company. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry will be essential in driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

**Essential functions, responsibilities, and duties**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery of semiconductor components and related materials.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to ensure their professional growth and effectiveness in meeting departmental goals.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams, to understand demand forecasts and ensure timely procurement of required components.
- Identify and qualify suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to stay ahead of potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track procurement performance, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement team to drive operational excellence and achieve strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and drive cross-functional projects.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in the semiconductor industry, emerging technologies, and market trends.

**Skills and requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 6 years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of the semiconductor market, supplier landscape, and global supply chain dynamics.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills to achieve favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
