Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Head Strategy of Commercial Excellence and Regional Marketing to join our SEA & India Commercial team in Singapore.

Rising wealth and shifting demographics are reshaping healthcare demand across this region. Rapid adoption of technology and digital penetration is expanding market and creating significant opportunities for businesses.

The Head of Strategy, Commercial excellence and Regional Marketing will be responsible to strengthen the strategic road map to enhance SEAI Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) competitiveness and growth opportunities The leader will work closely with Country General Managers to identify levers of growth and focus on developing capabilities in marketing and commercial excellence. This person report to the Area Managing Director and sits on the Cluster leadership team

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Strategic Head will be responsible for identifying key growth levers and crafting robust access strategies and strategic blueprints to drive the cluster's advancement to the next level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering sustainable development

Strategy & Marketing

  • Oversee the development and deployment of strategic business plans across TAs for SEAI cluster and ensure customized approach for countries aligned with brand strategy.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business plans for the disease areas aligned to Company, Therapeutic Area and Brand strategy to drive business results.
  • Align Company, Therapeutic Area and Brand strategies to drive successful outcomes and deliver compliant product sales growth.
  • Develop creative strategies for the adoption of products, using different technology platforms to optimize impact, efficiency and outcomes for the portfolio.
  • Build strong & early partnership with APRA to maximize SEAI launch potential through GFLS assessment and inclusion of India in global phase 3 programs
  • Financial accountability and management of budgets, investment choices and involvement in budget planning
  • Focus on identifying levers of growth and develop innovative access and go to market models

Commercial Excellence

  • Build, accelerate business intelligence capability to analyze, diagnose and provide insights into company growth opportunities, competitiveness, performance and key business questions.
  • Develop and implement commercial excellence capability, talent development and acquisition. Continue to focus improvement strategies and plans to maximize growth opportunity, productivity, drive operational excellence and achieve/exceed business goals and objectives.
  • In partnership with commercial leaders, and aligned to the business unit strategies, implement and measure sale force effectiveness, commercial business model, training and incentive scheme to effectively connect with customers.
  • In partnership with the BUIT, commercial, HCC leaders to build company competency in digital customer engagement, promotion channel mix optimization and assigned digital initiatives
  • Work with the functional leaders, provide leadership to prioritize, manage, allocate resources for company assets and contribute to process excellence.
  • Local country teams report to this role.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Pharmacy or related. MBA is preferable.
  • Min 10 years' of proven track record in sales/marketing experience in Pharmaceutical industry at Opco or regional level required
  • Strong planning, coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • With good track record both in strategic thinking and people leadership.
  • Min 2 years of People management experience preferred
  • Consulting background would be preferred
