Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

Provide general administrative support to the school's management, teachers and students on a daily basis, which may include but not restricted to:

  1. Manning the counter and handle phone and walk-in enquiries
  2. Assisting in NRIC registration exercise
  3. Support in the logistics for school activities and events such as Parent Teacher Meetings
  4. Assisting in the Year 1 Registration and Orientation Programmes including but not limiting to liaison with vendors (bookshop, uniform, magazines) and other administrative matters
  5. Assist in results release
  6. Assist in exams printing exercise
  7. Assist with the attendance for temperature taking and emergency/ haze-related exercises
  8. Ensure fresh supplies of first aid items
  9. Handling students request in reprinting of Certificates or letter (Visa applications and/or job reference checks etc.)
  10. Printing of student verification letter / Visa application letter when requested o Update Form Teachers list and Teachers' extension list
  11. Update Teachers' letter rack o Order and refilling of beverages for pantry and staff lounges
  12. Record and sort internal mails/ courier including internal/external deliveries o Redistribute mails/couriers accordingly to the respective recipients
  13. Any other duties as may be assigned by the school

Job Requirements

  • Minimum GCE 'O' levels with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Able to work on rotating shifts and weekends if necessary to support school events
  • Good IT skills (Word and Excel)
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous with a high level of accuracy
  • Possess clear, logical thinking and good organization skills
  • Good time management skills with ability to work independently under pressure
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate professional yet friendly working relationships with staff and vendors
  • High integrity with the ability to demonstrate respect for data confidentiality
  • Able to find solutions to problems with some degree of flexibility in the approach
  • Able to respond to enquiries in a timely manner
  • Effective team player within and with other departments
  • Able to handle younger boys will be an advantage
  • Rotation and coverage of other sections of the administration team would be required on a needs basis
  • This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
