About the Role
Develop and implement algorithms for autonomous robot navigation, focusing on path planning, obstacle avoidance, and efficient docking. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and robust robot operations in dynamic environments shared with humans.
- Design and implement navigation algorithms for optimized path planning, energy efficiency, and safety.
- Develop high-accuracy docking strategies and real-time obstacle avoidance solutions.
- Utilize sensor data (e.g., LiDAR, cameras) for autonomous decision-making.
- Optimize navigation and docking algorithms based on hardware constraints.
- Build software bridges for seamless system integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Python, and ROS.
- Expertise in path planning, obstacle avoidance, and docking for autonomous robots.
- Experience with motion planning algorithms (A*, D*, RRT, SLAM).
- Knowledge of real-time systems, control theory, and robot kinematics.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
