Mandai Wildlife Group champions biodiversity, conducts cutting-edge wildlife research, develops innovative strategies to encourage sustainable living, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The Group provides financial support and resources to Mandai Nature for conservation initiatives across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X serves as the growth accelerator and venture development division of Mandai Wildlife Group, igniting, catalyzing, and accelerating innovative ventures in entirely new sectors to drive growth and make a significant impact.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive Go-to-Market strategy to enhance awareness of MWR products, identify business prospects, and devise a solid plan to boost revenue and visitorship to MWG parks.
  • Focus on cultivating MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sales opportunities within international markets, building a strong sales pipeline, and managing designated accounts (including corporates, travel intermediaries, and event organizers) to drive revenue generation and optimize performance in the short and long term.
  • Initiate and negotiate sales and marketing partnerships with travel and non-travel trade collaborators to align with organizational objectives within the assigned international market.
  • Foster and sustain excellent business relationships with local and international partners.
  • Cultivate enduring client relationships to achieve maximum satisfaction, engagement, and long-term business sustainability.
  • Produce regular market insights and analysis reports.
  • Fulfill any other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Tourism, International Markets, or Hospitality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in developing and delivering engaging presentations.
  • Profound understanding and experience in MICE, travel trade, international market dynamics, and requirements.
  • Sound comprehension and connections within the tourism industry.
  • Capable of operating in a rapidly evolving environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strategic thinker with robust execution capabilities.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic self-starter with determination and initiative to spearhead and execute assigned projects.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on weekends as needed.
