Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the formulation and implementation of Commercial business plans to achieve the company goals and objectives.
  • Manage and promote the company's core values, business objectives and targets, including the development of supporting personnel and features for the continued growth of the company.
  • Induct, train, coach and develop human resource within the department.
  • Maintain the discipline and cohesiveness of staffs under charge, working towards achieving the corporate objectives. Have a nose in recognizing problems.
  • Write to internal or external customers in the most effectively and concise manner. Conversely, must be able to converse concisely and timely.
  • Maintain the business infrastructures for the continued engagement of the company in the targeted core business sectors.
  • Registration of the company in the various Business and Qualifying Registration Bodies for the qualification to participate in the offering of the company's service
  • Maintaining of the management system and programs, both internal support-based and external customer requirement-based, for the abilities to provide an enhanced business environment.
  • Maintaining a database of customers' information that will promote and improve the services of the Company.

Managing the Budget Management System:
To review and assign the correct budget man-hour to Production Department upon issuance of job number.

To maintain or perform periodic review of sub-tasks in the ERP system to ensure prevalence in the execution of work.

To ensure that the Production Department daily job planning are monitored and job execution status are updated in the ERP system timely.

To ensure that the Production Department daily manpower planning against the actual timesheet are monitored and to review on the variation report submitted by the Commercial personnel prior to update into the ERP system.

To manage the documentation and comprehensive of the the documents in the Job File ("Pink File") for awarded job and the collection of the file upon completion of the job, and to ensure that project information are updated into the RERP system timely (within one week).


  • Manage the issuance of Service Report (SR) or/and Form of Acceptance (FOA) at the close of the project and ensure that Production Department gets the SR / FOA signed by the customer to ensure timely invoicing (electronic or manual).
  • Manage accounts receivables and overdue payment.
  • Generate the annual Revenue Forecast during the absence of the Commercial Officer.
  • Up-keep the marketing tools of the company.
  • Develop, inculcate and enhance the sense of loyalty of both customers and staff.
  • Developing new marketable areas of business of continuous relevance to the company's objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor or the Top Management.
  • To comply with the requirements and responsibilities as stated in the Risk Assessment (RA) with respect to your position in the company, which will be briefed to you.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Degree/Diploma in Engineering and/or from a business discipline.
  • Experience in a senior management position with a minimum of 5 years handson work experience and knowledge in managing a business division and doing costing.
  • Knowledge in system management at an auditor capacity and experience in, and certified as auditor in ISO Management Standard.
  • Good interpersonnel and salesmanship skills. Need to have good EQ. Able to manage by objectives
