Description of Key Job Duties:

Trina Solar is seeking an experienced HR manager with expertise in organizational development, compensation and benefits, human resource processes, and familiarity with the employee life cycle to join their team. This role will report to the Head of HRBP APAC.

1. Strategic planning:

  • Collaborate closely with senior management to align HR strategies with the overall business objectives.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management.
  • Contribute HR expertise to strategic decision-making processes.

2. Compensation and benefits:

  • Support the annual performance evaluation and salary review processes.
  • Provide guidance on compensation matters, such as job evaluation and market analysis, to ensure fair and competitive practices.
  • Manage the calculation of sales incentives by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.

3. HR Processes, Operations & Reporting:

  • Identify, develop, and implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in HR processes and programs.
  • Collaborate with headquarters, HR business partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including record-keeping, document management, and HRIS utilization.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Generate relevant HR reports as needed by HR leadership.

4. Talent Acquisition:

  • Devise and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Lead the recruitment process from job postings to candidate selection, collaborating with department managers to meet staffing needs.

5. Employee Management:

  • Implement and supervise employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Create and execute employee retention strategies to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide resolutions.
  • Administer performance management processes, including goal-setting, reviews, and development plans.

Skills Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager/HRBP or similar role, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Expertise in organization development, compensation and benefits, or human resource operations.
  • Prior HRBP/HR Manager experience in the Solar energy industry is advantageous.
  • Business-centric mindset with strong decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English & Chinese.
