Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Understand business and its drivers, build relationships with line manager/stakeholders to identify, provide HR input across a range of HR issues, and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the business.

• Point of contact, provide advice on labour legislation, policies and procedures and work closely with Business Units to ensure smooth resolution on HR matters to mitigate risk, including disciplinary and grievance matters, enhancing communication, engagement and performance.

• Working closely with business leaders on daily HR related matters

• Drive and support the delivery of staff engagement plans (onboarding, staff dialogue, employees’ recognition sessions) and positive employee experience interventions

• Oversee implementation of HR policies and ensure significant changes are communicated to business units in a timely manner

• Support employee life cycle from onboarding, deployment, development, and off-boarding, and offer professional advice on HR policies, initiatives, and processes as well as employee well-being support.

• Manage specific projects as determined in the annual business and HR strategic plan

• Be an effective people catalyst between the business and HR, and forge trusted partnerships via the development and communication of the organisation’s strategies and policies to officers with proper feedback channels.


Requirements

• Bachelor / Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management / IHRP certification with at least 5 years of relevant HR experience in a large organisation

• Degree in Human Resource Management with 6-8 years Business partnering experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skill

• Resourceful and resilient, able to adapt to changing situations and navigate through complexity and ambiguity effectively.

• Ability to work independently, while also work effectively as part of a team.

Seniority of appointment will commensurate with relevant work experience.
