Singapore MITSUBISHI CORPORATION RTM INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. Full time

Main responsibility is to support RtM management to ensure all functions of the organization are aligned to RtM's strategic objectives in order for the organization to achieve its long-term goals.

This involves activities relating to corporate and trading functions to drive business growth and organizational development with full responsibilities in fulfilling the qualitative and quantitative targets of the organization.


As a division, to take initiatives of strategy planning for the future growth of RtM group including portfolio management, commodity strategy and comply with ad-hoc requests from parent company Mitsubishi Corporation and RtM management.

In the meantime, the coverage would be on a global needs basis to establish RtMI headquartered autonomous global operations through conducting Executive Management Meeting (EXECO) accordingly and enhance global governance through alignments and better communication with regional offices.

**Job Responsibilities

Formulate and execute long-term strategy

Support the management on the following items:

  • Design, execute corporate strategy and formulate each year's management plan in alignment with Mitsubishi Corporation's strategy.
  • Set comprehensive longterm goals for performance and growth.
  • Articulate, manage, and balance between the longterm vision and the shortterm objectives.
  • Enhance management foundations to secure the stability and sustainability of the company.
  • Establish policies which promote the company's culture positively.
  • Build the organization and teams to attract, retain and develop talents on a global basis.
  • Lead and motivate employees in collaboration with HR department to take on challenges and seize opportunities to achieve the company's goals, as well as create a sense of belonging to the organization.
  • Keep abreast of development and key issues relevant for each of the divisions/departments, maintain control on a diverse range of functions/commodities across locations and ensure the company and its stakeholders are on course.

Execute RtM group's annual management circle

  • Coordinate and finalize the profit plan versus quarterly budget update. This will include arranging for sessions to discuss and have mutual understanding between the Commodity Divisions and management.
  • Facilitate annual KPI setting, help project targets and coordinate quarterly review of each commodity and corporate division.
  • Facilitate Action Plan setting and help project targets and coordinate quarterly review of regional offices.

Govern and support RtM China and the Indian entity to be newly established

  • Govern and support subsidiaries' smooth operation by monitoring through the annual business plan, monthly report etc.
  • Support the subsidiaries to circulate prior consultation items to the management based on the prior consultation list.

Portfolio Management

  • Formulate and implement the plan for better portfolio management.
  • Support the commodity division to transform its business and/or to develop the new business including decarbonization business.

Internal communications /Others

  • As part of internal branding activity, coordinate Town Hall Meeting or other events
  • Support CEO in message deliveries to global employees.
  • Manage the relationship with other MC group companies including MC Singapore branch.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a degree from a recognized university or tertiary institute
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy and planning or a relevant scope from global MNC
  • Ethical and compliance consciousness
  • Strong people skills
  • Strategic mindset
  • Good business planning skills
  • Having good balance between IQ and EQ
  • Confident in presentation and communicating with senior management
  • Problem solver
  • Proficient in both English and Japanese written/spoken at business level. This is due to the requirement of daily communication with Tokyo headquarters. During the process, reading and writing reports in Japanese will be part of the job scope since submission of reports will also be to Tokyo headquarters.
