Consumer Insights Manager

Reporting to Regional Head of Intelligence and Performance, Asia Pacific, this role will be responsible for providing strategic insights and analysis on consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities in the luxury wines and spirits industry.
You will support the markets and work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Commercial, and Finance, to drive data-driven decision making and identify growth opportunities.
In addition, you will play a key role in the annual brand planning process, support the company in evaluating campaign effectiveness, including measuring the ROI of campaigns, analyzing the impact of campaigns on the brand funnel, and assessing the resulting effect on brand desirability.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to gather data on consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities in the luxury wines and spirits industry in the Asia Pacific region.
- Analyze data and provide insights and recommendations to guide business strategies and marketing plans, including brand strategy, brand positioning and product pricing.
- Play a key role in the annual brand planning process by supporting markets in mapping out shortterm and longterm objectives and goals for each brand, concurrently considering the market landscape and identifying key initiatives and campaigns to achieve the objectives.
- Develop and manage consumer research projects, including consumer segmentation, brand tracking, and execute customized studies, to gain deep insights into consumer behavior and preferences.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (internal and external) to leverage consumer and market insights in the development of marketing campaigns, new product launches, and sales strategies.
- Support the company in evaluating campaign effectiveness by measuring the ROI of campaigns, analyzing the impact of campaigns on the brand funnel, and assessing the resulting effect on brand desirability and willingness to purchase.
- Monitor and report on key market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer sentiment to identify potential opportunities and risks.
- Stay uptodate with industry news, market research methodologies, and emerging trends in the luxury wines and spirits industry to ensure best practices in consumer and market intelligence
Profile:
- Relevant market and consumer intelligence experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment
- Proficient in market research tools/ techniques (questionnaires, Focus Group and data analysis software)
- Industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer or Luxury Goods will be highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong commercial and datadriven mindset with ability in strategic planning, managing P&L and analyzing financial data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, multicultural environment
- Fluent in English with proficiency of other language(s) will be an advantage
