Introduction

IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives.

You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change.

We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Consultant is a customer facing representative of the company.

The TC is responsible for ensuring that the solution is implemented within a customer's organization to meet or exceed a customer's reasonable expectations of the solution's technical and business benefits.


Engagements

  • Work on assigned activity / task with delivery team to understand the solution and specific client requirement
  • Find and gather information sources to interpret problem statement, execute analysis and present findings to team members and stakeholders
  • Maintains sufficient technical capability and ServiceNow ITSM best practice knowledge to be able to implement and administer the solution
  • Ensure technical delivery is in line with the agreed scope
  • Raise risks and issues
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Requirements:

  • Work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) lead for a specific technical specialty, taking the lead on building methodologies and sharing knowledge across the Delivery Team.
  • Familiar with ServiceNow concepts and platform features
  • Development of required integration components (REST, SSO, LDAP, etc).
  • Strong in Scripting (JavaScript), Business Rules, Flows and Out-OfBox capabilities
  • Debugging server side and client side scripts
  • Worked on notifications, scheduled jobs and SLAs
  • Familiar with API Tokenisation with SSO authentication
  • Have experiences deploying ServiceNow solutions on Self-Hosted Environments
  • Setup and Configure Service Operations Workspace

Competencies

  • Maintains sufficient technical capability and ServiceNow ITSM best practice knowledge to be able to implement and administer the solution
  • Establishes credible advisor relationships with customers and colleagues alike on all technical matters relating to the company's products
  • Understands, produces and maintains all relevant project documentation
  • Implements all technical aspects of service delivery to the highest level of quality (measured against customer expectations)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Minimum IT 5+ years of experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience with Service-Now
  • Possess ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), CIS
  • IRM or CIS
  • VR and CIS-ITSM
