Singapore VEL TEC ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. Full time

Responsibilities
- Ø Participate to new tender proposal preparation.
- Ø Feedback lesson learnt from previous project to tender team for future cost estimation.
- Ø Leading the project VO proposal preparation in the project.
- Ø Take over the project after award, initial on the project handover from Proposal team.
- Ø Preparing MSRA, SWP, FPP, Lifting Plan, audit closures, plant improvement studies, integrity findings and various engineering reports.
- Ø Preparing proposals, work packages, technical bid evaluation for high level stakeholder review.
- Ø Reviewing contractor/vendor drawings, datasheets and other documentation for major repair, and turnaround
- Ø Prepare and execute plan/un-plan shutdown work tasks, coordination, scheduling and resources.
- Ø Coordinate and execute daily / weekly / monthly work plan activities with other functions staff.
- Ø Plan and support daily maintenance and turnarounds activities
- Ø Plan, coordinate, supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, environment, health and safety standards and procedures.
- Ø Improve and upgrade reliability of equipment
- Ø Participate in cost and quality improvement activities.
- Ø Ensure overall plant equipment such as Pumps, Filter presses, Evaporators, Pan Dryers, Mixers, Classifiers, Thermal oil system, Piping, Tank-form, Valves and Heat ex-changers are well maintained and in good condition.
- Ø Plan, coordinate and supervise contract maintenance work.
- Ø Preventive maintenance schedule preparation.
- Ø Maintain CMMS system to track all the maintenance activities.
- Ø Coordinate with contractors (Fabrication, Maintenance, Special equipment and components) execution of information sharing get it from them right materials moving forward to Procurement and project team.

**HSE Management and Coordination with HSE Team
- Ø Focus on management of health & safety risk at workplace.
- Ø Discuss with HSE Lead to develop training matrix as per project requirement. Arrange regular review on the training result to analysis and recommend new initiative idea
- Ø To discuss with HSE to develop new ideas (Concept) in systematic.
- Ø To liaise with client representative on work matters and permit to work issues.
- Ø Liaise with site HSE personnel to ensure corporate policies, practices and procedures are met.
- Ø To enforce HSE rules and regulation to ensure workers comply strictly.
- Ø Attending HSE Meetings & walk down with client.
- Ø Participate in daily tool box meeting and involve in the MSRA briefing for the individual work crew.
- Ø Ensure the PTW systems are follows and meeting daily work plan.
- Ø To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.
- Ø To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.

Quality Management and Coordination with Quality Team
- Ø Ensure that customer quality Specifications are constantly met.
- Ø To instill ownership priority & timely manner at our culture to work safe and achieve higher quality
- Ø Ensure QC documents submission on time to client.
- Ø Review with QC lead to set up the Quality Training and follow through the schedule. Arrange regular review on the training result to analysis and recommend new initiative idea.
- Ø Ensure all the Test Equipment are prepared, and ready to use prior the task start.
- Ø Managing the project scope & ensure that the necessary IFC drawings are been followed in the work site.
- Ø Attending the major clients walk down for handover of individual systems.
- Ø Procurement & Coordination with Procurement Department
- Ø Participate of Procurement Control List (PCL).
- Ø Follow up with procurement for the material delivery/Top up on time.
- Ø Regularly review the Open PR/PO to take decision accordingly.
- Ø Follow up with Client on these free issue material status, ensure the material ready to install as per schedule, do record and notify client if any potential delay.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Must have Construction Safety Course for Project Manager certification
  • Must have Construction Project Planning & Scheduling Using Microsoft Project certification
  • Must have Develop a Risk Management Implementation
  • Must have Assessor Course for Confined Space Management
  • Must have Confined Space Entry & Rescue Course
  • Must have Managing Working-AtHeight Course
  • Preferably 1015 years of relevant working experience in Oil and Gas industry.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, management and leadership skills.
  • Strong Business acumen and decision making skills.
  • Willing to travel overseas for business trips
  • Willing to be relocated to the required project site, if required
