Inside Sales Engineer

Handling activities of
South East Asia, Pacific & Taiwan (SEAP+T) for parts, upgrades & new construction such as inquiry analysis in commercial and technical aspects, preparation of strategic quotations, bringing in cleared orders, etc for valves and other IMI Critical Engineering products.
Responsibilities

Preparation and submission of good quality technical and commercial proposals
- Determine and create the product / spare parts list
- Estimate the manufacturing cost of the product and prepare the commercial proposals and longterm purchase agreement
- Clarify the customer's and IMI Critical Engineering commercial terms and conditions
- Prepare the deviations and clarifications sheets
Operate and update tools
- Operate tools (Product sizing, costing, pricing, etc)
- Update IMI Critical Engineering database (SFDC, etc)
Building up a closer bilateral relationship with customers / sales channels / factories / other departments
- Communicate with customer to fix the product specification
- Collect and analyse customers' needs
- Negotiate with customers on technical and commercial matters
- Internal negotiation with various factories / departments
Preparation of order packages
- Prepare the related documents and instructions of manufacturing to hand over the order to the Project Management Team
Assist in Sales team activities
- Prepare technical presentation materials for Sales / customers
- Present selection / proposal to customers
Develop the skilled staff (applicable for Senior Engineer role)
- Advise / train junior staff for technical issues
- Setup winning strategy in respect of technical and commercial
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 or more years related experience in a similar position and organization, preferably in control valves or other mechanically related equipment, or related experience, either in oil and gas, power plants or the chemical industry
- Process Application know how for Power and/or Oil & Gas industries.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills essential
- Positive, aggressive, open minded, an achiever & a team player
- Excellent communications skills, in both verbal and written English
- Good knowledge in MS Excel, Word and MS PowerPoint
CRM Tool
- Salesforce knowledge will be a plus
