An opportunity has become available for a Technical Support Manager at SGI Aviation Pte Ltd (Singapore Office).

About the job:

The Technical Support Manager is responsible for SGI's technical database management, collection of general and / or specific information in the field of aviation, asset
- and lease management support and financial forecasting and analysis. The role also includes providing high quality support to front line Technical Managers (TM), Technical Vice Presidents (VP) and the Management Team (MT).


In this position you will be introduced to the aircraft asset management business whereby you will develop the skills to determine the value of an aircraft, analyze an aircraft's cashflow and be exposed to the commercial aviation financing business holistically.


Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high quality technical support to representatives in the field:
  • Provide support to front line TMs and Technical Representatives
  • Efficiently share data with the team
  • Manage the technical knowledge
- and information data base:

  • Database management: data collection, structuring, analysis and integrity verification
  • Compilation of detailed and accurate reports
  • Create templates, standards and financial models for implementation on various projects:
  • Creation and standardization of templates and technical standards
  • Perform market and fleet analysis
  • Perform financial analyses, including quantifying exposures for airlines, lessors and/or financiers
  • Project support:
  • Participate in aircraft asset management or technical services projects: both at the SGI office and at the aircraft site (under the supervision of a senior and/or VP)
  • Asset Management support:
  • Record and monitor utilization of managed assets
  • Prepare rental and maintenance reserve invoices
  • Monitor assets for upcoming or ongoing maintenance events
  • Monitor lease obligations
  • Assess and review maintenance claims

What we are looking for:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering. Batchelor degree in Finance is also an option for this position
  • Knowledge of airline operations, aviation and leasing companies
  • Excellent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Knowledge of AerData's CMS Lease or any other Asset Management Software is a Plus
  • Be a proactive team player with an ability to work well with people at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Have excellent preparation, organizational and communication skills
  • Have excellent problem solving skills and have sound judgment in relation to technical matters
  • Be a highly motivated selfstarter able to work with mínimal supervision and be flexible
  • Demonstrate advanced skills with the features of various computer
- word processing
- and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other proprietary software)

  • Demonstrate social/cultural awareness and a willingness to travel
