Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is dedicated to empowering individuals to live life to the fullest.

As a non-profit organization, we cater to individuals from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, acknowledging the unique challenges they face, such as limited social support, health issues, or financial constraints. Our mission is to walk alongside them, discover their strengths, uplift them, and provide holistic support for a better quality of life. While MWS has grown its outreach over time, our fundamental commitment to social holiness remains steadfast. Presently, we impact over 11,000 beneficiaries, including underprivileged children, at-risk youths, families in crisis, socially isolated seniors, and individuals battling chronic illnesses and destitution.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Management:
    • Formulate and execute strategies to identify and retain top talents.
    • Develop and oversee talent assessment and enhancement programs to nurture exceptional individuals.
    • Establish career progression paths and succession schemes to groom future leaders.
  • Leadership Development & Succession Planning:
    • Devise, implement, and assess leadership training programs to foster strong leadership qualities at all organizational levels.
    • Collaborate with senior management to pinpoint succession loopholes and devise remedial strategies.
    • Offer coaching and guidance to high-potential individuals, facilitating their growth as prospective leaders.
  • Organization Development:
    • Lead efforts to enhance organizational efficiency and adaptability.
    • Evaluate the organizational framework, processes, and culture to identify areas for enhancement.
    • Execute change management tactics to steer organizational evolution and cultivate a culture of innovation and continual enhancement.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Create and implement strategies to elevate employee engagement levels and cultivate a positive workplace ambiance.
    • Analyze employee input and data to spot trends and areas necessitating improvement.
    • Roll out programs to acknowledge and reward employees for their contributions and accomplishments.
  • Performance Management:
    • Supervise the performance evaluation process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and principles.
    • Devise and implement performance appraisal systems and tools for constructive feedback and employee development support.
    • Provide training and assistance to managers and staff on best practices in performance management.
  • Culture:
    • Promote the organization's culture and values, fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered.
    • Lead endeavors to foster a culture of cooperation, responsibility, and perpetual learning.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cultural initiatives into daily operations and practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in talent development, talent management, or a related field, with at least 6 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated track record in designing and implementing effective talent development programs.
  • Proficient in leadership development, succession planning, organization development, employee engagement, performance management, and cultural aspects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing proficiencies.
  • Ability to foster strong relationships and collaborate efficiently with stakeholders at all organizational tiers.
  • Strategic mindset with the capability to translate business objectives into talent strategies and initiatives.
  • Robust project management aptitude, managing multiple priorities and deadlines adeptly.
