Job Description

An outstanding full-time role is available for a skilled communications lead specializing in corporate reputation and crisis management. This individual will be a key member of the Global Corporate Communications team, overseeing crisis management in the APAC region, developing proactive storytelling initiatives, and crafting campaign strategies that reinforce member and customer trust in LinkedIn. Reporting to the Group Manager of Reputation Management and collaborating closely with the Director of Proactive Trust, this newly established position calls for expertise in regulatory and political landscapes, traditional and social media, as well as exceptional writing and project management capabilities. The ideal candidate should excel in a dynamic environment working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds across different regions in a multifaceted organization. They must possess a flair for storytelling, capable of crafting impactful narratives and collaborating with leaders to create authentic content that showcases LinkedIn's commitment to earning the trust of its 1 billion members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute communication strategies across various social channels, collaborating closely with in-market colleagues.
  • Devise regional Corporate Communications campaigns, pitches, and content to shape LinkedIn's reputation.
  • Develop and implement a consistent flow of proactive and reactive content on LinkedIn to enhance the platform's safety and trustworthiness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and local Corporate Communications leaders to address real-time issues across news and social media platforms.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource, offering guidance to regional and country leaders, global communications, policy teams, and other stakeholders on emerging trends and challenges in the industry and social platforms. Utilize these insights to enhance the overarching issues management approach.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 9 years experience in communications, focusing on in-house public policy communications and/or crisis management.
  • Extensive background in liaising with journalists both reactively and proactively, with established contacts in APAC markets.

  • Demonstrated experience in reputation management within global technology, recruitment, or consumer brands.
  • Proven track record in executing multi-market communication campaigns.
  • Self-motivated individual thriving in a fast-paced setting, capable of managing multiple priorities across various markets.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality standards.
  • Outstanding skills in writing, editing, and communication.
  • High level of integrity and a keen sense of confidentiality.
  • Expertise in developing a consistent tone across communication platforms that aligns with a leader's persona.
