About Our Client

A global company specializing in the trading and processing of agricultural commodities, supplying raw materials for the food, feed, and fuel industries.

Job Description
  • Oversee HR operations and administration for SEA countries (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan), including payroll processing and tax submissions in collaboration with a third-party vendor.
  • Support the implementation of a global payroll vendor system.
  • Coordinate benefits and leave enrollment.
  • Assist HR Business Partners with employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage external vendors for payroll, benefits, mobility administration, insurance renewals, assignments, tax reporting, and audits.
  • Work with immigration vendors to handle pass renewals and applications.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the HRIS system and document storage in OpenText.
  • Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc HR projects as needed.
The Successful Applicant
  • Has 3 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist with focus on managing payroll.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint), Pivotable and Vlookup, and SAP Successfactors system
  • Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset
  • Independent, fast learner, proactive and adaptable to thrive within a fast-paced environment and able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of the HR practices, labor laws, payroll and employment regulations of SEA.
