We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Breakfast Demi Chef/Chef de Partie to be part of the culinary team. In this role, you’ll assist the Head Chef in delivering beautifully crafted dishes, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and all meals meet our premium standards. Salary: S$2500 – S$3000 depending on work experience

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety within the kitchen at all times
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute menus, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
  • Conduct daily kitchen checklists to verify SOP compliance and train Commis/Line Cooks on goods receiving and storage practices
  • Manage kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed, and maintaining a consistent stock of essential ingredients
  • Monitor the quality, presentation, and quantity of food items before serving
  • Provide training, guidance, and evaluation of kitchen staff, fostering a positive environment and strong working relationships among team members
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events and catering functions, ensuring effective collaboration with front-of-house staff on menu knowledge and presentation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Demi Chef/Chef de Partie role
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, tools and processes
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Great time management skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of best and latest cooking practices
