Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Channel Sales Engineer to oversee and expand our distribution channels. In this role, you will provide expert technical support, foster strong relationships with distributors, and drive product sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training distributors, ensuring optimal product placement, and delivering exceptional customer service and technical assistance to meet the demands of the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing distribution partners, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Identify new sales opportunities and actively manage sales pipelines to drive the growth and performance of distribution channels.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess their performance, identify challenges, and implement strategies for continuous improvement with stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive technical support and training to channel partners, covering product features, benefits, applications, and industry-specific solutions.
- Develop and lead product presentations, demonstrations, and provide technical support to both distributors and end customers.
- Facilitate clear communication between internal teams and distributors to ensure the efficient flow of information and operations.
- Collect and share valuable feedback on market trends and customer needs with the product development team to guide future improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years sales experiences in Electronic, Electrical industries, General Industries.
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field, with practical, hands-on experience an added advantage.
- Proven track record in sales, engineering, or technical support, particularly within test & measurement distribution channels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to simplify and present complex technical concepts and solutions in an accessible manner.
- Willingness to travel for distributor meetings, training, and events (including the Philippines, other parts of Asia, and additional assigned locations).
Location: Ubi (Tai Seng from April)
