Roles & Responsibilities

Finance Manager – Core Activities

  • Managed and coordinated the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing etc.
  • Maintained the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions, and reconciled all general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepared and presented monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets,and cash flow statements to senior management team and HQ stakeholders.
  • Expertise in managing month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate, reconciliation of financial data and timely delivery of reports to HQ stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with company's financial reporting standards, maximizing profitability, and streamlining processes to meet business targets.
  • Managed cash flow to ensure that funds were available for day-to-day operations, identifying opportunities to optimizeworking capital by reducing accounts receivable days and delaying unnecessary expenditures.
  • Collaborated and work closely with senior management team and Group CFO on full spectrum of financial matters to develop and monitor budgets, forecasting revenue and expenditure, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Coordinated and prepared tax filings, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations, and collaborating with externalauditors to ensure the accuracy of the financials.
  • Managed customer accounts, ensuring accurate profit and loss analysis.
  • Managed intercompany Electronic Billing (e-billing) and ensuring the accuracy of multi-currency cost invoices, leading and developing a team of revenue care specialists to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations etc

Revenue Care Manager – Core Activities

  • Actively involved to increase volume from 50 to >300 shipments every month.
  • Significant internal collaboration to build capacity to support high volumes between the cluster for cross bordershipments.
  • Worked closely with regional team on alternative solutions to extend footprint into Central Asia + Europe.
  • Business & Product Solutions – Able to present & package business product solutions for Internal /External stakeholders.
  • Extensive growth for FTL and LTL business, optimising feasibility for Groupage using cross-dock facilities in major Malaysian cities.
  • Implementation of New Business – To Lead and map out Implementation milestone for smooth new business transition across ASEAN countries with local country product alignment.
  • Closely worked with Trade Lane manager & ASEAN team stakeholders including BU’s director to increase volumebetween ASEAN countries.
  • Well versed knowledge on Pharma + Healthcare shipments specifically for Cold-chain transport across multipleborders.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting – Analysing data skills via excel & pivot to provide report timeliness direct to Internal / External stakeholders HR-D-01
