Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

As an Officer - Human Resources, you will be supporting the day-to-day HR operation and administer training applications and funding. You are responsible to work closely with the Human Resources Service Partners (HRSP) to ensure seamless and efficient HR deliverables, providing critical administrative support, and enhancing employee experience from onboarding through various stages of employment.

Principles Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Review and process employee training applications in the HR system.
  • Liaise with employees, funding and training providers to ensure all the necessary documentation and approvals are in place.
  • Be well-versed in all training-related grants (e.g. NCSS, AIC, etc) and provide support for the grant administration.
  • Track funding status, monitor staff confirmation and end-of-contract, and maintain records.
  • Support the onboarding process by administering hiring documentation, managing work-pass applications and creating employee’s record.
  • Handle the processing of work passes—including applications, renewals, and cancellations—ensuring timely renewals to maintain compliance with MOM.
  • Manage and facilitate internship process in collaboration with the direct services.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process, coordinating with relevant department to ensure smooth and structured employee exit.
  • Prepare various HR-related letters.
  • Assist with various HR initiatives, including staff orientation, long service award, staff events and town halls.
  • Performs other duties and HR projects as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in HR or a related field with 1 to 2 years of relevant HR experience preferred especially in grant administration or HR operations. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates integrity and handles sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Adaptable and proactive.
