Responsibilities:
- Visit both existing and potential new customers who are strategically important to the organization, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs to position the company as a key partner. Build trust and long-term relationships with decision-makers.
- Assess customer requirements by conducting in-depth discussions to identify their challenges and suggest tailored products and services that align with their goals and the company’s capabilities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex or escalated customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory solutions that protect and enhance customer relationships.
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules within authorized limits. Finalize high-value sales orders to achieve or exceed revenue targets while maintaining profitability.
- Identify and research potential customers and opportunities. Proactively reach out to prospects to introduce the organization’s offerings and build strong relationships to secure new business and repeat sales.
- Regularly gather and share customer feedback, competitor insights, and market trends with internal teams to refine offerings and respond proactively to market demands. Act as a bridge between the market and the organization to drive improvements in products and services.
- Develop and implement long-term sales strategies for key accounts. Monitor progress and adjustsales activities to ensure objectives are met, focusing on sustainable growth and customer retention.
- Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales priorities. Plan and schedule personal and team activities to ensure efficiency and achievement of sales targets.
- Coach and mentor a sales executive, providing clear guidance, support, and feedback to help them develop skills and achieve their targets. Foster a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
- Coordinate frequently with our Japan HQ, ensuring clear and effective communication of sales updates, market insights, and business strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 6 to 10 years of sales or marketing experience in the Chemicals industry.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with multi-cultural stakeholders at all levels.
- Require communicating with our Japan HQ. Knowledge of Japanese language (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proactive work attitude with a high level of commitment and initiative.
