What the role is: Launched in 2012, Workright is a national initiative that seeks to raise awareness and national compliance with the Employment Act (EA) and Central Provident Fund (CPF) Act through education and enforcement efforts. The Workright team conducts annual education campaigns to target public, employers and employees, and manages inspectors to check on workplaces to ensure employers comply with the employment laws. What you will be working on: As a Manager (Workright), you will oversee the implementation of education efforts to raise awareness of EA and CPF Act, as well as the Progressive Wage Model (PWM). Your responsibilities include the following: Work with our key partners and agencies (e.g., TAFEP, CPF Board, WSG, unions and associations etc.) to formulate and implement engagement and outreach plans. Assist to provide the content for the publicity materials, workshops, and events. Identify and utilize appropriate channels and tools to reach out to target audience, and track performance of campaigns and publicity materials. As part of the Workright team, you would also be required to support the enforcement work to ensure that employers comply with employment laws. This would include responsibilities such as inspection planning work, case processing and analysing data to drive inspection efforts. What we are looking for: The ideal candidate should have: Possess a tertiary qualification in any discipline. Good communication (verbal and written) skills and attentive to details. Effective team player with good interpersonal skills; able to work well with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to adapt flexibly to different operating situations and work under the pressure of tight deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to do data analysis and visualization using Advanced Excel, PowerBI and/or Tableau will be an advantage. Qualifications and working experience in a relevant field such as marketing, communications, engagement, outreach and partnership will be an advantage.
