Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of catering operations, from planning and execution to client communication and team coordination. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events and hospitality, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering outstanding service. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events of varying sizes and types (corporate functions, weddings, private events, etc.) Act as the primary point of contact for clients—handling inquiries, conducting tastings, site visits, and managing ongoing communication. Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure all event details are communicated and executed smoothly. Develop and manage catering proposals, contracts, and budgets. Coordinate logistics including staffing, setup, breakdown, and transportation of food and equipment. Ensure quality control of all food, presentation, and service. Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships related to catering operations. Hire, train, and supervise catering staff for events. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. Drive revenue through proactive sales efforts, including upselling services and building relationships with corporate and event clients. Requirements: Proven experience as a Catering Manager or in a similar role within hospitality/events. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office and catering/event management software.
