Your role

Do you like organizing and coordinating? Do you have strong analytical skills? Are you able to provide support to ensure smooth operations and solve problems elegantly? We are looking for someone like this to:

  1. Prepare, review, and redact reports and documents according to regulatory guidelines and standards.
  2. Work closely with GIA Regulatory Relations SMEs to support the production of high-quality submission assemblies that adhere to internal and external regulatory guidelines.
  3. Proactively communicate regulatory requirements and proposals with stakeholders.
  4. Provide business-related support to GIA globally, including administrative, logistical, analytical, or quality control tasks.
  5. Assist with audits and agile tools, troubleshooting, data and access management.
  6. Review and align SOPs with stakeholders and process owners.
  7. Prepare decision-making materials for GIA Management, such as management meeting packs and governance reports.
  8. Administer filing systems, maintain SharePoint sites, and support management in collecting critical documents and presentations.
  9. Contribute to the timely delivery of audit work.
  10. Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Your team

You will work in the Group Internal Audit (GIA) team, an independent function supporting UBS in achieving strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives. GIA assesses key processes, governance, risk management, and controls across all divisions and functions globally. We report directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.

As a Business Support Specialist, you will support and control GIA's processes within the Audit Management and Support stream, gaining insight into various GIA processes and influencing their effectiveness.

Your expertise
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in a similar role within a dynamic, international environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with good knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and SharePoint; Alteryx is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
